Loud and Left Early
After around six songs I had had enough. The only times I enjoyed the concert was when the band left and it was only him singing. I could barely hear the lyrics the entire concert, which made it hard to feel connected to him as an artist. I enjoyed the cover he did and the slower music for sure. I felt that Michael Franti engaged with the audience a lot better than Parachute. The bass during the moments the band re-engaged was so loud I felt it was damaging my ears, seriously, I had to put kleenex in my ears to be able to stay as long as I did. I came to hear Parachute, not his band and loud guitarists. I would not see another event in that venue and will try to see Parachute in a smaller or outdoor venue in the future.
